easy horse halloween costume ideas

Chef's Kiss was one of my 31 horse Halloween costumes and was super easy. I got the chefs costume from Goodwill and just used some bright pink lipstick I had to do the kiss marks. If you want to make it into a horse and rider costume you could always dress up as a chef, waiter, a food item, etc.

Ella’s Captain Stormy costume is so fun! The wig is of course hilarious and the pirate hat and other costume elements make it easy to identify exactly what this costume is. Plus pirates come in many different looks so you could easily put your own twist on the costume. 

This Popeye and Olive Oil costume was so fun and actually pretty easy. There was of course stuffing the arms, sewing the arms on, and sewing on the anchor took the most time but it was overall pretty straightforward and it looked so cute which is of course the most important part.

Brooke’s Barbie and Her Horse costume is definitely one that I recommend for an easy costume. The decorations for the horse are straightforward and simple (you can add more fun stuff like pink hoof glitter if you want) and the riders costume is also on the simple side. Again you can always add more details if you want or go with another Barbie look too. 

This Beach Vacation horse Halloween costume was super easy and you could easily make it into a horse and rider costume. The straw was plain and I just got a pack of beach signs/paper items and stuck them onto the straw, the leaves were already together and just slipped over Sinatra's head.

Horse in the hat proves once again you don't need to go all out to create a great horse and rider Halloween costume. With some very recognizable costumes and accessories you can have a great costume easily.

Talk about an easy costume! This royalty costume is just a cape tied around Sinatra's neck and a crown. My costume was just a royalty dress I found at the thrift store. If you want you can make the horse's costume even fancier with some glitter hoof paint, some jewels in the mane/tail, etc.

This Alien Attack On An Astronaut costume is so creative! As long as you can get all the pieces in time this is a great costume that you can ride in too, which is great. Plus you will have a bright green sleezy so it isn't like you have to throw out the costume stuff after Halloween which is a huge benefit especially given the cost of a sleezy.  

One of my favorite costumes I made was this Cruella de Vil costume. If you have a white horse or a white sleezy it is just that much easier. This is maybe not the fastest costume to put together, but it really is pretty easy.

Yes Chef is a great example of a fun yet simple horse and rider costume that would probably work to show in as well in case you are looking for a costume that you could do some fun events in. These types of more simple horse costumes can be especially good for horses that can't wear super elaborate costumes for any number of reasons. 

I love unicorn costumes. I mean not only are they easy but you really get to be creative. I personally love nature so I incorporated butterflies and flowers into this unicorn costume. I thought it came out super cute and it was so easy.

I will say the one thing I didn't do that I should have is bought clips with flowers on them or glued the flowers onto clips. It was hard to get the flowers to stay in his mane and tail.
