Easy Halloween costumes for your horse doesn't mean they aren't awesome! It just takes some extra creativity to create an impactful costume with less. While there are a lot of easy costumes out there we have pulled a few that we think are especially cool. I won't put too many here since we have the easy horse Halloween costume ideas page but here are a few.

Beauties and their beasts horse Halloween costume is amazing! While the horse costumes themselves are more basic the riders' costumes really bring the whole look together. I think this is a great idea if you have an elaborate costume yourself to just create a simple look for your horse to tie it all together.

Patriotic princess is a really cute costume idea. If you have some left over 4th of July decorations (or maybe you are really planning ahead and can get some elements ahead of time on sale after the 4th of July) this costume is pretty easy. Plus if you want to add a rider costume to the ensemble it would be really easy.

I think this pokey the pumpkin patch costume is an amazing example of a simple yet effective horse Halloween costume. It truly screams pumpkin patch with just some pumpkins, fabric and a few additional details.

I think i need a bigger boat

Talk about an elaborate costume! I think I need a bigger boat is so detailed it is insane. I definitely don't have the ability to make something this awesome but I think it is safe to say that anyone who could make a costume like this would stand out in whatever costume contest they enter.

WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

This Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory horse costume is just amazing! I truly admire people who have the vision and ability to pull something like this off.

Let's talk about this biker girl on her awesome ride costume! I think it is safe to say that if you showed up in a costume class with this awesome horse costume you would impress a lot of people.

Poco as Two Pirates with Treasure Chest

Lynn has long been submitting elaborate costumes and her Poco as Two Pirates with Treasure Chest costume did not disappoint! I wish I could see these costumes in person I am sure they are somehow even more impressive.

Do you wanna build a snowman

What can you say about this do you wanna build a snowman costume except WOW! The horse's costume is incredible and so is the handlers. Honestly this costume is just so fabulous on so many levels!

Sometimes there are just horse or horse and rider Halloween costumes that give you a laugh. Here are some of the funny horse costumes that we have received over the years.

THE SEA HORSE LOVES HIS WATER VACATIONS

The sea horse loves his water vacations definitely gave me a good laugh when I saw it. I love the flippers and the snorkel too! I don't know if every horse would be so good with a pool toy around their neck but it definitely made for an effective costume.

1 HORSEPOWER HORSEY DAVIDSON

The 1 horsepower horsey davidson costume is definitely an impressive costume but I had to laugh because I think we have all has those horses who are speedy like motorcycles. 

duck dynasty meets the horse

The duck dynasty meets the horse costume is hilarious! I love the beard on the horse along with the camo hat. It really is a creative and funny horse costume.

pyro the scarecrow

I mean how can someone not find this pyro the scarecrow costume funny! I love all the different elements but I think one of my favorite parts is the 'hair' and the hat it is just so cute.

I think this frozen trio costume is so cute! I love all the elements and how you immediately know it is a Frozen themed horse Halloween costume. 

under the sea

I know as a kid I loved mermaids (and horses of course) so a costume like this under the sea one would have been just what I wanted! It really is so cute and not a very hard costume to recreate which is nice.

CHARLIE THE LADYBUG

Talk about an easy and cute horse Halloween costume! This Charlie the ladybug costume is a great option for those on a shorter timeline, plus if you wanted you could even take it up a level and add some wings to the costumes.
