I've been a member for 128 days, i am building up a breeding farm just for "fiesions" (i can't spell it) SO FAR I GOT two females and three males i am soon going to get another female. i love howrse but saving up pass is hard! i own two of what i call "star mares" thats where i take a really nice mare that's good for breeding and trick her out with extra items. i have one star pare that's fiesion, and one that's candian horse.

I've been playing horse for at least a year, and I plan to play it even longer. The point of howrse.com is to train and breed horses to be the best.
That's not the only thing there though. You can also run your own Equine center (a place to keep your horse). And Howrse ALWAYS has AWESOME CONTESTS you can enter and win things like an ipod touch!
But my favorite part about it is the black market. "Whats the black market?" you ask, well it's a store where you can spend passes on things to make your horse age slower, become immortal, make them a peagus etc.

Not a fan. You never get to ride interact or feed your horse its just a picture that stands there and needs food. Then when you think your doing a good job BAM it dies )': sad so I would not recommend this game

QUICK SUMMARY OF GAME
A while ago I joined HOWRSE. Its a very nice game and a kindly player named Georgina R gave me some help with her site (we'll come to that later). Anyway as I was saying it's very nice and has a friendly community. For those who don't know about howrse you look after horses buy and sell them and stuff.

Howrse is a very fun game!
At the beginning, it is very hard to figure out how to take care of your horse. So they've simply revamped the site, and now a little money named Ow guides you through different steps, such as GROOM and FEED. You'll be rewarded.
But you'll also be asked to age your horse, and soon your horse won't be living for too long because you aged it too much.
It's a bit boring because all you get to do is: take care of your horse and pet safe haven horses. You won't be able to have a center til you're a certain age.
Overall it's very nice but it also needs some work...

I think that howrse is the best game ever! If you like interactive moving pictures this isn't the game for you but its really fun. the only thing is it's a little hard to figure out at first so there are plenty of friendly people to help you with it on the game.

There's is a selection of horse and pony breeds and each is represented with a picture. It's a pretty basic game, but quite competitive as well when it comes down to stuff like buying. I think it would be cooler though if the member could ride their horse in competitions instead of just pushing a button for an event and seeing the results, and nothing more. But it's a nice to play when you don't have much else to do.

I love it! I've been on for over 300 days and am not even a little bit bored. It's so cool because it's realistic, but there aren't any graphics that are hard for dial-up internet to download (I know this because we have dial-up). And to make it even better, it's free.

I have been playing Howrse for 320+ days (it could have been way closer to 400 but i quite for 3 months). I only came back because one of my friends from another game wanted to talk to me on there. I don't like it as much as other games because you don't really do anything but click click click. You have to click to feed, water, groom, stroke, ride, lessons, competitions, and etc. It's an ok game but I've seen better. I now play HorseIsle. You can actually do stuff on there and chat with the players instantly unlike the forums on Howrse. If you play HI then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Anyways. OMG! I played on here for sooo long, I've had 12 accounts (all of which have been deleted) My current one is haileykona15. I am pretty experienced with this game but there is an astonishing rate of accounts being hacked by other players. I do not favor that at all. My first and best account was hacked and ruined. Unless you make a pretty crazy password like GFGasgassDDFDFsa13444 your account has a good chance of being hacked. Please be forewarned. I love everything else tho.

Howrse is a really fun game. I first saw it as an advertisement on another site I play on (don't remember which one) and now I play it and really like it! You can choose either a horse or pony, choose the breed, and name it! There's this private mail thing where you can email other users as well, and that's how I stay in touch with my friends. If you're having trouble, you can go to forums and ask about almost anything! I made some new friends by getting answers. You can get jobs, breed your horses, have virtual money, buy passes to get cool stuff, (with real world money:(, not game money) train your horses, enter contests, and much MUCH more. Once you read the things you have to do, It's not that hard. I recommend it for ages 8+, because it's a bit difficult to play. My horse was only 1 year and 8 months, I was doing aging things and then he passed away. I think the game is FAR, FAR to hard. It is difficult and boring, why does it only let you groom, pet your horse once a day? If I had a horse, I would be petting, grooming it every second of my life!
It is boring and I was very disappointed indeed!

I was five, and I had only recently heard my Dad had found me a horsey game to play on. I didn't have Dexter, my real life pony, back then of course but i did experience many lessons and could horse ride!
Anyways, he said he'd help me and supervise my account. He signed me up and off I went.
Howrse has easy instructions/guides/tutorials and outstanding graphics.
It may not be animated scenes, but the horses look totally realistic, the business you have on your account is so life-like and, plus, you can breed and get over miillliiiooonnnsss of horses, ponies and foals!

I thought that "howrse" was very hard to log into,I could not find a press code and it kept coming up with something about a godfather thing.I didn't like wow it said "quick and easy to log into".I thought "it was pretty poor".I still couldn't get into it so if any one finds any press codes,your very lucky!

bad actually, far far too much reading to start off with - and I'm adult. So it's a complicated game, doesn't mean it can't be put in simple terms over several different subject headings rather than one huge page you have to hunt for.
A lot of their basic horse breed facts are wrong (Connemaras do NOT come in dun, it's buckskin for instance) be warned if you're relying on this to 'expand your knowlege' and basically it's extremely complicated and moves like a snail to start with. Ok it's a game but who rides a new broke horse at a gallop first out? I hate that if you're new and kill your horse by accident you have to pay money to revive it (hey that's a great way to get readies eh? make it complicated so folks'll kill the first horsee then get them to have to pay to revive it!)

Howrse is an amazing game, I recommend it to everyone who loves horses and is interested in breeding.

I love the game however they could make it a little more realistic by letting us actually do stuff other then sitting and staring at there picture and they could also let people see there ultrasounds and have more ways of getting the items that require passes or at least make it so we may get a few passes sort of fast and also they could give newbies at least 3-5 passes at start up

At first Howrse can be confusing. And you may not play much till you reach your 40th-100th day. But it's worth it. Howrse moderators will keep you busy throughout the days with new competitions. Here are some quick tips to get started.
1. If you start out with a mare. Don't breed right away, train her first.
2. Always keep your equs (money) above 1,000e. It'll be easier in the long run.
3. Keep your aging points. You'll use them more when you are older.
4. If you need help contact Jadecow (me) I've been on for 200+days.
5. If you feel like it. Feel Free to put Jadecow down as your sponsor.

i have been playing howrse awhile, and it is fun and addicting! but the one thing that i hate and you have to be really carefull about this you can play for free but you can BUY bonuses like fertility wand, skill bonus etc. and after a while your horses die, which i don't think is right.

I think,as many probably do,that howrse gives people who wouldn't be able to own a horse,such as myself,the chance to know at least partially what it is like.On the game some people say "oh i hate when people cry when their horses die,they're just pixels!" but for thoose of us who don't have horses maybe it's no,to me it is emotional.I cry when my horses die,i get excited when they foal,and i cry when they end up in safe haven.To me they are more than just pixels and i'm proud of it,if you don't like it,get a life.

I go on it every afternoon! When you start playing howrse the game is a little tricky but you get the hang of it. The game does get more exciting as you get to a higher level. Like for instance I'm level 3 so I can open a stable and since then I have had much more fun!!
The only problem with this game is that your horse ages in days. So once you look after your horse or horses and you don't have aging points you can't do much more.

Howrse was my first horse sime experience, and needless to say, it was fun at the time. Recently, I've stopped playing. Too few people take time to read the rules and aqquaint themselves with how the game works. It is also highly unrealistic (Ie, no colour genetics, no crossbreeding), and based too much on popularity and being "top" for my liking.
Something I much prefer, and that I did not see on the list, is an awesome little simulation called Equine-Ranch. It has all that howrse leaves to be desired. Go check it out.

I've been on howrse for about 893 days and I absolutely love it! While it is a little hard to get started, there are a ton of people who are willing to help you along the way. Besides creating your own horse, you can start your own breeding farm, you can own unicorns, pegasus, ponys,and donkeys.
You can start an equestrian center, enter competitions, and there are a ton of role play games on there, and they are a ton of fun. Right now there is an online water balloon fight. I'd encourage everyone to join. If you need help contact me(gingerbay) and I can direct you to some awesome people who love to help!

Howrse is by far the absolute best horse game on the internet. I am definitely addicted! Haha. It is a little confusing at first but they have a new tutorial now on how to play. It comes as different quests to show you how to get started. On howrse, you can own as many horses as you want (there are many different breeds of horses and ponies), you can have your own equestrian center with your own forum that everyone can post in, meet lots of people of all ages and from different countries, and lots of other things. It's not just for kids either, I have met lots of adults that play and really get into it. Well anyways, I would definitely recommend howrse to anyone that loves horses and if you decide to get on, then look me up. My user name is farm_gurl. :)

Howrse is a Great Game! In Howrse, you get to have your Very Own Horse or Pony, name it, and take care of it. As it grows up you will get many Surprises too.
You get Passes on Howrse. Unfortunately you must pay for them, but if it's okay with your Parents you can get some Passes on Howrse and go to this Special Place called the Black Market. It's connected to the main store and in the Black market you get Secret and Rare items for your Horse and Pony. They include things like Medusa's Blood (Able to change your Pony/Horse into a Pegasus,) Philosophers Stone (Able to make your Horse/Pony immortal which means that they can live 4 ever) and much more.
When your Pony or Horse grows up, you can breed them with other Horses and Ponies to get your very own Foal (Baby Horse) and you can take care of them too. There is a whole list of mares and stallions to breed with and it's fun to have a Foal.
There are much more stuff you can do on Howrse, but I'd say it's a Great Game for anybody. I Hope you enjoy the Horse Game Online Howrse!

This horse game is amazing, and you don't have to become a member for anything. On a lot of sites, you have to become a member to do certain things. Not on Howrse! It's fun breeding all kinds of horses, and waiting for cool events every day. Plus, everybody is willing to help you with stuff. I also like it because you actually have to work at it. It's like owning a real horse; you have to feed it, train it, and groom it, or else it can get sick. Very realistic and fun!

Howrse was better and I should know, I have been on it for 243 days. It has just changed from its 1st version to the 2nd version. There has been a lot of glitches lately.
Howrse is very fun and addicting. At 1st you get to choose 1 howrse and raise, train, feed, work, and race it when its old enough. howrse is full of great players. It is always being watched by moderators (or mods as we howrse players like to call them) and administrators (or admins again as we howrse players like to call them).
Howrse is going through some tough times right now but its still very very fun and it has over 1730000 players.

I like the horses and stuff like that, BUT my ttly FAVORITE part is the RPS I am currently in a wolf pack a horse herd and a mermaid rp. THEY are awesome. I would recomend Howrse to ANYONE, though it can get you hooked soemtimes you have to stop. I hope this helped

It's not just a game you can start and expect to be good at straight away, after your howrse has grown up and you have access to more things; THATS when the fun begins.
You have to find an E.C that is cheap and healthy for your howrses, then you can get a job (you really need one), train your howrse, breed your howrse and start a stud or you can just make your howrse/howrses show ones.
You can sell your howrse, and once you have passed enough levels you can start your own E.C!!! It rox.

The BEST horse game I've seen so far, literally.
If you're a younger person who enjoys animation and stuff, maybe you'd enjoy a different game, but howrse is a very fun game for me. I'm literally obsessed with it. I'm AppaloosaCrazy on there. I breed appys, appycowrns, and IHs. They're getting their new graphics soon (YAY!!) and they're SOO pretty. The arabian's head looks literally real. I LOVE this game.

I have something like 28 horses, dont bid on a howrse if you can't afford it! Thats how you loose karma points. Don't put your howrse to bed with less then 20%
I have played howrse ever since it first began (in 2007 if I recall correctly). I have gone through a few user names furring that time.
When I first joined, I was addicted in 5 minutes, everyone was nice and friendly, there were no unicorns or divines or any of that, if your horse was a Pegasus or had a Golden Apple, you didn't want to sell it because you loved it but you knew you would rake in the money. There was like 5 mods at the most, now there are a bunch load more and they don't even answer your messages.
It is SO competitive. You have to buy hundreds of passes a year if you want to even THINK about being a top breeder. The top breeders are snooty snobs, and they weren't when I first joined. I was a top Hanoverian breeder, you would find my horses in the top rankings all the time, then some adults came onto this kids game and spent lots of money to make Howrse no longer a kids game.
If you are under 14 I wouldn't play because if you want to get a good horse, you are going to have to spend a lot of equus (Howrse's currency) and/or many passes, which you purchase with your own, real money.
Unless you like playing a game you know you will not ever be a top breeder unless you spend lots of money and talk to the rudest players, Howrse isn't for you. I continue to play because I have met people on the site that I want to continue to talk to, but over half of them have quit due to the competitiveness of the game.
In the beginning you are bored to tears playing, then after you start breeding and purchasing horses, you realize that you don't have a chance and the only reason you sign on is because of people that you like, but there are few people who are willing to talk to you and Howrse has turned into one of the worst games.
I am currently looking for a new, non competitive horse breeding game, one that you can play and it be like the old Howrse. The new one (Version 3) stinks!

I think Howrse is great and wonderful. It can really educate you on horses! I think Howrse should consider to bring Zorses to Howrse! I also think they need to make it only five days before you can pass another riding level!!
Here's how to get Equus..
Go to Profile at the top of the screen and it will give some options. Scroll down to my job and click on it then pick where you want to work, it will pay you every time you log in and take care of one of your horses. Also you can get different jobs that varies on your riding level--level 1 groom, 2 riding teacher, etc.

Howrse allowes you to come online, take care of your horse ,wich take about 1 minute per horse, do some shopping,selling,wishing, then leave. It is very cool! I would reccomend Howrse.com to anyone.

i have been on howrse for 398 days in counting , and i love it so much its the perfect way to get away and go into your own little howrse world:) i know it sounds crazy but you have to be on there at least 30 days before you will understand.
and the tutorial for newbies thing would be a nice touch but really they have all the info you need after you begin and there are real people in the forum contently to answer any questions you might have left so don't worry about that

this is a great game to play on. If you love horse and caring for animals this a great game for you you get to to caring for your own horse and let it start a family buy and sale horse got pony and and open a staple to earn money give this game a time
i think Howrse is a great game. it allows you to breed, train, and compete horses. Howrse is quite realistic even though they have "Black Market items" which can increase your horse's skills or help with other things. these you can buy with passes. the thing i like about it is that you can propose ideas on the ideas forum. then, players can vote for your idea and the idea can get on Horwse. this helps improve Howrse. the one thing i don't like is that you have to buy with real money. passes. you can buy them with your reserve, but only so often.

Meh, it was mediocre at best.
It would be better if it didn't cater to spending real money on passes, and allowed you to do more instead of having to wait to pass riding levels.
I'd recommend it only if you were severely bored of other horse sims.
Otherwise, good luck trying to beat the pass buyers.

I have played Howrse for over 250 days. I got sick of it after a while though. It is hard to get the horses trained, for me, because my horses die!! :( lol

I have played howrse for over 2 years. I have had six accounts which have all been deleted. Right now I have TreeLake1, and OMG is it my best one or what??? I have duble greenstars and 2 greenstars and a fresian and I'm only on my 17th day!!!

I've played Howrse for 110 days and I've created a Club very small but im hoping it will grow anyhow I made a website for our club on Freewebs but i hate all of their templates and I cant create my own template HTML isn't so hard if u no wat ur doing but CSS (cascading style sheets)is a pain in the butt its like learning HTML all over again and harder this time! CSS doesn't take normal tags its very case sensitive and im going crazy with all these graphic designers! Money money this money money that passes passes they r like vultures! i no making layouts r hard but good gosh the price some of theses ppl charge is robbery! 10 PASSES and 50,000 COINS WTH! and some of the good designers that r cheap or cheaper only make em for friends and high breeders thats not right! Can someone help me plz?

I have been on howrse for 291 days, I have 36 horses, and I'm still finnding out new things. It's realistic and give you the responsibility to be able to handle money, But still giving you the freedom to enjoy the game.
