I know. my mare and i were going to a 3 day show for barrel racing, and when i thought everyone was gone i got so nervous that i was shaking, and people in my class say that there's no reason to be nervous b/c its only going around the same courses over again ( i do western games) but as you know you get nervous anyway.
But i slipped in the stall and started saying things like "i'm really nervous" and "we're going to place tomorrow right?" and sally (my mare) nickered and put her head on my shoulder like she understood!we ended up placing 1st,3rd,4th, and 7th! i haven't told anyone but now that i know that i'm not the only one that has had that happen i don't feel as crazy. :)
