This book, from the series, is about a girl named Joel and her horse Dancer. When her horse gets pregnant, the mare dies from giving birth to her foal. Because of that, Joel hates her new foal. But her parents force her to take care of her.

These books are amazing! I'm not into racing but it's the horses that count. I have read all the books and my favourite is the horse of her dreams. It makes me so sad because I want a horse so so so bad! I couldn't want anything more. Oh my second fave is a horse called wonder. It's so sad.

MY FAVE SERIES!!!!

OMG! I loooove this series. I have only read this one and another called Ashleigh's Foal, but I L-O-V-E them. I usually don't like racing but these books make me love them!! This book is about how a girl Joel breeds her mare and her mare dies in giving birth. Joel HATES the new filly because of that, but she must take care of her. Joel secretly starts to like the new filly- but one thing at the end makes her love the filly forever! You'll have to read the book to find out what.

This series and Harry Potter are my FAVORITES! Respond to Horse Dreamer if you agree that this is your favorite series!

I am in love with this series and I am not a big racing fan but when I read this I totally got obsessed about racing! IT IS THE BEST SERIES EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am on book 6 and obsessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this series!!! I have read most of them, but my public library doesn't have all, and neither does my school library. I highly recommend this series to ANYONE who likes horses! (My favorite horse is Ashleigh's Wonder).

This is a great series!!! My school library has some of them and they are amazing. I check 2 of them out (2 is the most I can check out at once) every time I go. I recommend them to anyone who likes horses. The only thing is they have no pictures, (I like them better that way because you can imagine the pictures) they are kind of long,(not Harry Potter long though) and you have to be a good reader to read them. :-)

I love the series. It is one of the best book series I have ever read. If any one who loves to read and loves to read about horses,then this is the book series for you. L.O.V.E the series. I am on book 8 and I am loving it. I will post more comments and post some pics.

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!

It's about originally a girl named Ashley Griffen, but later in the series she gets married and has a baby named Christina, who the series follows around book 20ish. It actually covers several characters. Since i luv horse racing it one of my favorite books series. IT IS A MUST READ FOR ANY HORSE LOVER!!!!!!

I LOVE this series they are my ALL TIME favorite books!!!

The series consists of two separate series. They are both about a girl called Ashleigh. The first series is called Ashleigh and it is all about her childhood. The second series is called Thoroughbred and it's about Ashleigh in her teen & adult years. She gets married to a man called Mike and they have a baby called Christina.

I REALLY hope you enjoy this series as much as I do!!!

This book can be very sad at times but has a very happy ending.

Ashleigh wouldn't care about anything, ever again.

Ashleigh Griffen swore she'd never give her heart to another horse -- not after a terrible disease wiped out her family's breeding farm, along with Ashleigh's favorite mare, Stardust.

Now the Griffens are starting over as breeding managers at Townsend Acres, and Ashleigh's sure she is going to hate living there.

Then a small, sickly foal is born -- a beautiful copper filly that looks like Stardust. No one thinks the foal will live or that it's worth trying to save. No one but Ashleigh.

This is not actually a book it is a series consisting of 72 books. I ABSOLUTELY love this series!!! Let me tell you a bit about them...

Thoroughbred is about a girl called Ashleigh.There is two series of thoroughbred,the first is called Ashleigh which is about Ashleigh's childhood and the second is actually called Thoroughbred which is about Ashleigh's adult years. She gets married to a man called Mike and they have a baby called Cristina.

The books are really good and I totally recommend them! Hope You enjoy!

this series is awesome if you LOVE horses you will love this series :D at 23 it goes on to "New Generation" and there's a LOT of specials it's kinda confusing. if you read The Ashleigh Series you might get slightly confused by some stuff just go wikipedia it you'll see exactly how awesome it is.

P.S. its kinda old fashioned cuz it was started in 1991 and ended in 2005 :( but its awesome and there's 72 books in all just go WIKIPEDIA hope i gave you something to do when your bored:) bye :D
