Summer Pony

This book by by Jean Slaughter Doty, is about a girl named Ginny who dreams about having her own pony, so when her mother takes her to a ranch to rent her own pony, she was excited. Until they're there. It's run down, with poor little ponies.

She chooses a pinto pony with one brown eye and one blue eye. Ginny and the pony, who she calls Mokey, become the best of friends, and get into some crazy predicaments.

Then summer is over. Time to give the pony back. What will happen? Is Mokey going back to that run-down ranch? You have to read it!

This is such a great book! If I was to rate this 1 to ten, I'd give it a 12!
