Here's an adorable horse and rider costume from Fiona with her horse Amber. Here, her mom shares how they created this costume:

How did you come up with your costume idea?
Fiona (8) loves her riding lessons with a horse named Amber. Fiona also loves the movie Hocus Pocus and she wanted to dress up as Sarah Sanderson, and she chose a Wini costume for Amber!

How did you make it?
We didn’t make it, we bought the wig and cape. The cape worked really well- but the wig required some zip tying ingenuity.

How much does it cost?
About $100 for the two costumes combined

Where did you wear it?
Fiona’s horse riding barn holds a Halloween horse costume parade and contest each year.

How did people react?
Everyone loved it! Fiona and Amber won second place in their contest.

How did your horse like it?
Amber was a great sport. She seemed to enjoy the cape but she seemed ready to get the wig off.

Sarah told us that Fiona also gave a little speech in the show about how she’s so proud to show Amber and be a part of the contest.
