First Lesson
Tomorrow is going to be the first lesson I am going to have since the accident. My old trainer quit his job so now I'm going to a new trainer, it's a woman this time her name is Debbie.
She's supposed to be buying our Percheron mare for $400, we wanted more so we made a deal if she would give me 12 free lessons we would sell the horse to her for $400.
I'm used to riding a huge horse but she wants me to start on 14.2 jumping pony. I do better on big horses, the small ones make me feel off balance. But she told me it would help me I got the feel of other horses so I can advance in my training.
Well let me tell you a little about myself. I'm turning 14 on Dec. 16 1997. My name is Sarah and I'm the horse whisperer. You're probably thinking how can a girl that age be a horse whisperer. Some people don't know what exactly a horse whisperer is. Well if your that person let me tell you exactly what they are.
A horse whisperer doesn't exactly whisper to horse, but they can read them in the way they act and feel when your riding or just brushing them. You understand the horses. I understand most horses. I can usually catch a horse that's not very trained or use to humans. They read me the way I read them, in my actions.
If you want your horse to be calm and cool, you be calm and cool. Don't get excited and jittery or your horse will feel that and get excited and jittery.
Well now that you know a little bit about me I'm going to end this on that last note. If you think I should continue please comment and don't be afraid to tell would I, should add or if I put anything you didn't like.
Until Tomorrow!

Sorry, I didn't write back Saturday or Sunday. I was busy but now I'm back and hopefully for good until I finish my story. Well let me start telling you how my lesson went.
I haven't been to a lesson in 6 months and I only went about 10 times when I used to go. Anyway I got there and her pony looked like crap, she said he lost a lot of weight when they had to move. When I got on the pony it was so weird and different from my horse. So we started with some ground work and whizzed by it with no problem.
We went over some small jumps at a trot and when I was done with that, she said I was ready to start galloping and jumping 2'6 to 3'0. I asked her, "Isn't that to high for this pony?" She said nah that pony won a 4'6 jump off before.I was really shocked but once I got on her and started galloping she felt so good. I went over those jumps with ease.
After I was done with my lesson, she told me I had one of the best seats shes ever seen. She thought I had years of experience in jumping but didn't. I started out with just trail riding when I was 3 and then moved to barrels and poles. I 'm just a country girl. I love hunting, fishing, and mud riding. But my favorite is horse riding. She also told me that I controlled her horse better than any of her students that have been taking lessons for years has.
I'm not trying to brag but all I'm saying not everybody is born with a talent like mine, but if you were, people might say horse whispering ain't no talent or anybody can get on a horse and jump it or barrel race. Well yeah people can just hop on there and do all that stuff but I bet ya they wont beat the one with the gift.
I'll see y'all next time. <3

2nd Lesson
Saturday will be the second lesson since the accident. I can't wait. But you're probably wondering what the accident was. Well let me tell you.
I was training my jumping horse Roxie to rope and it was her first time so when I put the back girth on her she freaked out and fell on top of me. Thank the Lord that it only my finger was broken, I had a couple of bruises and scratches here and there. We went to the hospital and I had to have two surgeries on it and go through the worst pain I've ever felt.
I haven't rode her in a while but I finally did when they took the cast off and the stitches out. I still have the plate in my finger now.
Well that's my story I hope I can keep going. Can't wait to tell you about how my lesson went...

Well I'm not going to talk much about horses today because I had school and didn't get to come home in time to ride. We also had a junior varsity football game and lost. But anyway I just wanted to check back and keep my readers reading. Well let me tell you a little about myself since we don't have much to talk about today:
1. I LOVE horses
2. I'm 14
3. Most everybody around where I live doesn't even know what English is.
5. None of my friends ride English.
6. I have no real friends except people I hang out with.
7. I like talking to my horse.
8. Like I said in my 2nd day I'm just a country girl!!!!
Well that's all for this day I'll see ya tomorrow and will hopefully have been riding.

My lesson was great but a lot harder than before. It was also the first time I have ever jumped 2'9. It felt so amazing I can't wait to get higher. I also just got a new 14'2 hunter pony. He's red and I would also like for y'all to suggest some names for him.
There are no shows going on near where I live so it will probably be awhile until I can tell you about my first show. Well anyway for my second lesson her horse tried to test me a couple of times by refusing or not doing what I ask. Well if you need any tips on what to do when a horse does something don't be slow to ask me.
That's all for today but I will be keeping in touch.

Sorry I haven't been around to tell much anymore but I've been busy doing the homework my trainer gave me. Today I had a lesson but it wasn't the best, my Horse, Roxie wasn't feeling to well so we had to catch her Horse, De.
After that it went fine my trainer said she was actually jealous of my seat when I jump, I'm so proud of myself. Today was also the first time I've ever jumped 3ft. can you believe it, it was so amazing.
She also told me a story of when she had another 14'2 pony called, Riptide, that he beat a 15' 3 Horse in a jump off when they were jumping 5 foot. I was so shocked, I thought my big horse, Roxie couldn't even do that.
Well she also said my next lesson my mom could just drop me off and after my lesson we could go on a really long trail ride, i can't wait. I just hope Roxie is feeling better.
Tomorrow we're supposed to get up early in the morning and go riding. I may get to ride my new jumper pony, Fury. See I picked his name from one of my comments. I almost forgot to mention we're breeding my beautiful black Percheron mare to a bay Thoroughbred stud. I can't wait I'm going to have a warmblood dial by next year, yay!!!!
Well I got to go so hopefully talk to you next time.

I forgot all about my story, and I'm so sorry.
Well anyway I had a lesson last week and it was the best one yet, we all went trail riding for couple of hours and my trainer loves to run up steep hills so my new Horse was very worn out by the time we got done. But I was very proud of him.
My Horse also did very well jumping to. The last Pensacola show was last Saturday and I missed it. I was so mad. I would also like to hear about your riding and stuff so feel free to to tell me.
