Horses only crib because they are BORED!!!! Let her be in the pasture. She stays in the stall most of the time, right? Put out to pasture for a day or 2 and then keep doing that. Pasture one night stall one night for about a month. Tedious but usually effective.

It might be because she's bored, and has nothing to do. Try giving her a stall toy or a salt block, and maybe try moving her to a stall where there's more horses.

oh my had a cribber myself. I painted where she would crib with hot sauce. I bought a lot of hot sauce. For a period of time it worked. But really I don't think there is any cure. it's on going thing that just never ends. My horse that was the only problem she had. I think I would have rather had all the other problems. GOOD LUCK!

I think you can get a special bad-tasting paint or lacquer that horse's won't want to suck on. I know. the horse i work with is a cribber too, but she's not that bad.

Cribbing can be caused by a boring life style, but after a while, it is just a horrible, life threatning habit. Put the collar on your horse and leave it on. No feeling sorry for her. She'll feel a lot worse if she colics.

I have a very well bred 6 year old mare that only started cribbing about a year and a half ago. She NEVER cribbed while in training and NEVER cribbed when she was rode regular. This mare, the more she is rode the better she is. She is so busy and I'm sure she stared cribbing out of boredum. I do have a collar on her now and it works.

It could mean your horse is bored i tried a joll ball with my pony and filled it up with mix and plonked in her stable it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!

When ever a horse cribs, it is most likely because they are lonely/bored. This might mean that ur horse wants more attention, or it might need another friend. Good luck with ur horse and hope it helps!
