A Beautiful Breyer

Compared to my older horse drawings, I think this is my best one.

So I was scrolling through my Breyer horse magazine earlier when I found a picture of a horse I wanted to draw. So I grabbed colored pencils and some paper, then voila! A masterpiece!

I would never trace pictures so I can already tell you this one is not traced. But I hope you like it!

One of my horse’s is named Chili and he looks exactly like that. You did such a good job drawing it!

Wow! This drawing is fantastic! I LOVE it! Chili is the perfect name for him! I also collect breyers and currently have like 40 of them! My favorite is a white Arabian named Spirit from the Pippa Funnel books. Keep drawing!!! I would love to see more of your work!

Nice job! He's very good.
Just 2 tips, please don't think I'm being mean, he really is gorgeous.
1. The hind leg that's cocked or resting looks like it's crossed over the other hind leg (if the breyer looks like that, my apology's) so maybe make it a little longer.
2. Arabians can't be pinto, so you could call him an arab-mix.
AWESOME job on this guy! Keep it up.

great job!! I LOVE to draw horses. my favorite is arabian. I only draw because my mom has always been scared of horses and that they cost too much. I was really disappointed when she said i couldn't have one. Keep up the good work.-Lyndsy

Yup, it's me, Kristen! I'm back, after not posting for what seems like a few years. :P Thank you all so much for the wonderful comments!! <3 I have improved dramatically in my drawings, you'd be surprised! I have also started drawing other animals, especially wolves. Hopefully I'll be able to post some of my more recent art soon!

You should probably open up an account on deviantART (deviantart.com) and post your pictures there. There are some amazing pictures there you can see (and reference for drawings), and you can post your own to let more people see. :)
