Black Gold

Marguerite Henry has done it again! A great book about a legendary race horse who has been forgotten. I so want to give away the ending. OOH I can't stand it!! He has a tragic end to his life during a race. He finished the race on 3 legs. They even made a Breyer horse of him.

Oh! It's just an amazing book. You got to read it, I'm not kidding!

If you have never tried this book then you should 100% try it out!! I love all of Marguerite Henery's books and this one is not an exception. Fantastic for horse lovers every where. A wonderful story about racing and perserverance.

I have read this book about a race horse named U-see-it and she mates with a stallion named Black Toney. U-see-it was a famous horse a great racer until...... U-see-it foals and her foal is named Black Gold and he wins the Kentucky Derby. lol i can't spell. Then he goes limp and he has a quarter crack.... Read the rest of the book to find out! The books author is Marguerite Henry. I really got to take spelling lessons lol.
