I really feel for you. I don't have a horse but love the horse I ride in lessons and know they'r easy to love. Don't take it out on yourself though. You didn't know. I hope I'll be brave when one day my dog will die. Levi, R.I.P, he just needed time.

OMG

OMG that was so sad I cried as soon as you found out he was dead. I know how it feels to lose someone or something that is really close to you. One of my step mums horses was pregnant and her name was amy and she was so misbehaved. She was supposed to give birth to the foal on my birthday and he was going to be my horse. B

ut she gave birth that foal a couple of months early. I never got to see that foal but i got to name it anything so i named that little colt morris. We got a headstone made for him and buried him in the garden and next our dalmation Medina.

That's so sad. I once rode a crazy horse at a stable but not as bad as levi. I know how it fells to lose someone or something close to you.

Hi Ashlyn!
This is such an awesome story! I nearly cried while I was reading it! It is so sad, and yet--there's such a mystic sense of perfection. I don't really know how to explain how I feel about your story other than the fact that I feel the same way whenever I think about my horse story. It's like I can completely connect with you because of what has happened to both of us. Have you read my true horse story? The best version that I have posted on this site is on "Dreamer: Windcall's Page 5=Reddy."

I just love your story! Your writing was straightforward, clear, and understandable. Add the wonderful TRUE story and a sense of sadness with hints of foreboding and actual love/friendship, and you have a glorious story!!!!!! If I were you, I would save this story in a document--forEVER. Hope to hear from you soon!
