Morgan!!!
by: Hailey

I have an amazing Morgan! They are very generous and easy to get used to. I transitioned from being a QH rider to the working hunters, and now to Morgans! You'll love them!

Get a quarter horse! They are very well with adjusting to new things. I have an 10 year old qh gelding and I can ride English and western and he will jump, run barrels(decent), trail ride, some dressage stuff, and western pleasure. If you want a horse that will do many things get a quarter horse.

You should get an Arab. Arabs are good at pretty much everything! My Arab does pretty much everything but jumping, but my friends have Arabs that jump. I'm about your height, my Arab is 14.3h, and she's a little big, which is good, I guess :)

Candy and Ty
by: I Love Candy

Hey, Olivia I ride 15.0 hand Morgan mare named Candy. She mainly barrel races and pole bends. But she jumps as well. So, I would recommend a Morgan. They are eager and willing to please. Hope I helped.

If I were you I would go with a Quarter Horse, appaloosa, or Morgan. But I'm 6 ft and the same age as you. i'd really go for the Quarter horse though or an Appaloosa.

Many to choose from
by: Katie

I've looked at quite a few horses in trying to find the right one for me before I got mine. You would need a horse that is at least 15hh. I'm 5'4" and my horse is 15.2hh. Age wise, get one less than 10. You want the horse to be able to last you awhile and young and agile. Breed wise, no warmbloods. Those are not good western horses, but paints, thoroughbreds, Arabs, quarter horses, appendixes, quarabs, & Appaloosas. Those are all really good western and English horses.

Hope this helped:)

i would go for a thoroughbred cross quarter horse. my uncle has one and she is absolutely brilliant. she does barrel racing cross country hunting dressage and show jumping and they have brilliant temperaments. she is such a sweet cheeky horse. ")
