I have the exact same problem but I've been riding all my life. I found a website but I live in Brooklyn NY. my dad almost got him 4 me... and was about to keep him in the stables I take lessons in!!! but then he found out it would be a total of $1000 a month with the dentist and the supplies so it was an automatic NO!!!!! so tell me where u live and maybe we can get in touch to make the money 2gether... I need some new friends cause my bff moved. If your interested call on a weekend 1-917-982-6100 thnx I really need a horse and apparently you do to so let's do it.

What you must remember, however, is that horses are expensive to keep- adjustment, feed, water, farrier, vet, dentist, etc. I think that is what your mother is referring to- you cannot afford to keep a horse. Seriously, for now, just worry about your riding. Work hard to become better and just chill- when you are ready to get a horse, I can guarantee that your parents will take action :)

I waited for my first horse for 5 years! It took a lot of begging and helping out around the house and helping my dad with the cars he rebuilds, but then my parents finally said yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I now have a grade paint mare and she is my life, so keep helping and pray to God for help, he knows when the time is right. And don't rich into this. It is a huge decision and you don't want to get a horse that you cannot control. Have a trainer go with you when buying your first horse.
