This is Violet
"New horse?" Dad asked my neighbor, Mr. Lawrence. "Yep. Got her at the Auction house. Paid 38$." "Only 38$?" asked Dad, amazed. "Yep. She was good for nothing anyway." Mr. Lawrence said. The horse was brown with a black mane and tail with a small white star and a snip. Mr. Lawrence threw a whip at the horse, and it landed on her head. The horse squealed. "Don't treat her like that!" I screamed. "Shh Olivia. That's not our horse and don't tell him how to treat it." said Dad. "But..but.." I said. "No buts." Dad said.

It was 2:00 in the morning when I walked out. I found the filly grazing in a small corral. "Come on, let's get you out of there." I said quietly to the mare. She neighed loudly, but as I reached out an apple to the mare. She gobbled it up, then nuzzled my pocket for more. I unlocked the corral and the filly galloped out. She galloped out into the woods. I heard a shout in the background. I ran to the safety of my house, and swore to myself I would see that mare again.
Please tell me if you want more of the story! By the way I made it up. The second part will be much longer!

"Where is my horse!" I heard shouting the morning after I had released Violet. I looked outside the window, and only appeared to see Mr. Lawrence shouting. "So." said my Dad. "Mr. Lawrence's horse has gone missing. Anybody you know who could of taken her?" Dad asked. I guiltily nibbled on a piece of bacon while my Dad went on about Violet. "Sorry Dad. But he was treating her so bad, I had no choice but to release her!" I innocently ate part of my sunny-side up egg. Dad glared at me as he ate his bacon. I gulped at the thought of the punishments I could have, but I knew I deserved them, fair and square for releasing someone else's horse....but was it the best for Violet? I hoped so. If it wasn't, what things could Violet face? Starving to death? I didn't think so. There was grass and grass and grass in Wyoming. But, thirsting to death? I didn't know if that was possible, either. But there were animals.....mountain lions, for instance. She could be attacked by one of those.
That was when I got up so fast from the kitchen table, put my plate in the sink, threw my fleece on, and ran outside to the crisp fall air. Mr. Lawrence was shouting in his house, throwing riding whips all over the place. His chestnut Quarter Horse gelding got spooked and jumped the corral fence. His sorrel Mustang mare got extra-spooked and reared and bucked until she was out of sight. Even his donkey got spooked...that donkey gelding ran out of there quickly. I dashed into the deep woods of Cheyenne, Wyoming. There was grass. A lot of it. All of a sudden, I heard a low whinny. It was nothing but Mr. Lawrence's Mustang mare. "Come on, Yankee. I won't hurt you. You have to help me find Violet." I mounted onto Yankee, and signaled her to gallop. When I heard another low whinny, I yelled "HO!" to Yankee. She stopped and I saw Violet in sight. I threw myself off the mare and she galloped out, farther into the woods. I ran towards Violet, who stood still and tossed her head when she saw me. When I reached Violet, I gave her an apple that was now quite warm, from being in my pocket. I threw my arms around Violet and hugged her. I mounted on to her and then stopped.
Was I to turn back, just to have Mr. Lawrence take her again? Or should I run away from my Dad's Cheyenne Creekside Farm for good? I didn't know what to do. But no matter what, I was not going to leave Violet. No matter what.
Post below if you want part 3! Thanks.
