THE WILSON SISTERS RULE!!!

Hi guys! If you don't know who Vicki, Amanda and Kelly Wilson are you have really been missing out. They are the best riders in New Zealand and have competed at Grand Prix, The Equestrian Extravaganta, and many other top shows heaps of times. They compete in show jumping and train horses. They have even rescued New Zealand's wild horses, the Kaimanawas and broken them in on two occasions.

Vicki is the oldest - and the most experienced. She is the best rider and trainer out of all of them and is the most successful. Then there is Kelly, the middle child. She is the girly one, and is a photographer and author. She is less committed to riding than Vicki and Amanda, but still loves horses and trains them.

Then there is Amanda, the youngest. She is an amazing rider and trainer, and films documentaries. They star in shows and documentaries, my favourite being "Keeping Up With The Kaimanawas", so check them out.

Also look at Kelly's books, "For The Love Of Horses, Saving the snowy brumbies, Mustang Ride, Stallion Challenges, Ranger the Kaimanawa Stallion and the Showtym series." They are all based off real horses they have owned and are amazing.

Their barn is called Showtym Stables, and they have amazing week long holiday camps, so definitely check them out if you live in new Zealand. Their camps are like riding cross adventure camps, you learn to jump bareback and ride tackless, swim in rivers, raft down rivers, climb tree's, have mud fights, the list goes on and on! It's definitely worth the money.

You can bring your own horse or use one of theirs. You also get to see behind the scenes at the sisters training and breaking in horses. It's so awesome!

This is a page where we can chat about their achievements, obsess over their horses and recommend books and shows about them.
