Hmmm... I rode Pixie along the trail and she stopped right in front of a strange mountain. "What's up girl? I've never seenthis mountain before, surely I would have noticed it before I mean it's huge!" Pixie climed up it hoof by hoof.
I dismounted and realised how far Pixie climbed and I thought "We could fall when we go back down and I can break a leg and you could break your neck!" I worried but Pixie was eager to go and I looked to the other side of the of the mountain and it seemed less steep so they when down it.
We got down it well and I was pleased with Pixie as she was so steady and slow! As soon as I got back from the trail I checked her over and she seemed okay. I was happy so I gave her an apple.
The next morning I when out with her again on the trail but went a different way because I didn't want Pixie to break her neck! "Let's go Pixie and have some fun!" and with that we left.
It was very enjoyable actualy but then we stopped for a picnick. Pixie ate the grass and I ate the Cadbury's! We cantered for miles on end and I totally loved it as I had never cantered on a grass trail before, just the school.
Then it happened... Pixie put her leg in an abandoned mine-shaft.

"Oh no! Pixie it's okay don't worry! I'll find someone to help." Pixie nickered. she didn't want me to leave. She wanted me to see her off.
The tears streamed down my face as I watched my pony leave the land of the living."It's okay girl I love you no matter what." Pixie left the land of the living.
I took off her tack and placed leaves over her head and wrote in my notepad "This is Pixie. She died when she put her leg into an abandoned mine-shaft." and placed that on her stomach.
I heard a nicker. "Huh?? Pixie is dead its not her." I turned around to see a piebald gelding about the size of Pixie maybe bigger.
I still had the tack and there was no way I would be able to walk back. The horse came over to me and lay down. He wanted me to tack him up! So I did and I rode back with him.
I got back to the stables and my instructer Sally came over. "What are you doing on that horse! And where is Pixie!" "Er Sally er Pixie is dead..." "Oh I'm sorry. I guess you had to get back one way or another."
Sally wanted to train the horse. And so they started...
Stay tuned for part III!
