BEST SERIES EVER!

I just finished reading this series and it is the best! My favorite character is Chance, and my favorite ship is Chester and Ginger. 😍💗💗 My least favorite character is probably Cara, so it really upset me when Chance and Cara got together. Totally worth the read!

The HBQ (Hoofbeat Quest) series by Madelyn Grace is a series about a young horse named Chester, who is considered a weak and pointless member of his herd. One day his best friend is killed and he over hears his lead stallion talking about terrible secrets and runs away. The books are a great series! As a matter-of-fact the best series (And book) I've ever read! You need to get your hands on this book! Then when your'e done reading the first book, (If you actually read them) you can move on to book two! Book two is MUCH better then book one so if you get bored on book one (which I'm pretty sure you won't) then don't quite! Book two is better. And hats off to the author who wrote the books when she was nine!... Or ten... Or however young she was. But I've heard she is still pretty young. A teen. But anyway... GET YOUR HANDS ON THAT BOOK!!!

The Hoofbeat Quests!

The Hoofbeat Quests is an amazing series by Madelyn Grace. The series was made in March, 2018. The story is about Chester, a young stallion who is a weak, and scared member of his herd. One day Chester finds out he is hunted by his lead stallion. Chester makes some new friends that help him escape his lead stallion. Then Chest finds out there is another horse that seeks his blood...

If you love Romance, Mystery, Death, hummer, and of coarse horses then this is the book for you. One of the best parts about this book is that the horses talk. I've recommended this book to lots of people because it's just that good. I mean seriously, have you ever seen this much comments in this little time it has been up?

You should totally read these books! You can find them on amazon or if you don't like shopping online you can find the books at Barnes and Noble. I don't know of an other stores that sell these books because they are very new. The first book came out in March. Here is the back of the first book:

Chester, a young timid horse, is considered a weak member of this herd. One day his best friend is killed, his world takes a drastic turn.

Having overheard the lead stallion's conversation, Chester knows there is a secret to be uncovered. But he also knows the stallion will go great lengths to keep the secret under raps...

Upon running away to save himself from certain death, Chester learns that he's not who he thinks he is. Having been orphaned early in his life, Chester never learned just how powerful he truly is.

In the fight of his life, Chester learns that it's not only the lead stallion that seeks his blood. He must conquer his fears and do all he can to safeguard his friends. He must battle the forces of nature and fierce predators to claim what is rightly his, and has been all along.

Two books are out in the series right now. Book one is called Hunted and book two The Red Stone. Well I've written a lot so check out online!

Who else has Bandit as a favorite character?

At the end of book 1, I was just confused and sad that Bandit acted the way he did. He'd been so charming and cute in the beginning, and I was just bummed, but now that I've read book 2, I totally understand that some dark force was controling him.... He's my favorite character again, and book 2 is just so good! All these questions that I'd been asking myself at the end of book 1 have been answered. Now I'm stuck with a load of new questions!!! Where IS book 3???

Anonymous... Oh man, that's hard to say. With me, Spirit stallion of the Cimarron is what started my artwork, that's what put art in my head. I watched that show everyday when I was little and I don't regret it, I believe that's one of the best cartoons ever made. I've never read the HBQ so I wouldn't know really what it's about but maybe someday :)

Thank you everyone for describing the characters, I am going to be working on bandit probably today and tomorrow. Of course things could come up and that means paper down, break time or whatever, I am currently working on pieces for my sisters so that's another red flag stopping me.

I will though eventually get to draw a few of the horses from the book. Like I said I will probably be working on bandit today. I will post them here so keep an eye out :)

So, to help you out, one of my favorite characters, Chance, is a sorrel stallion, that is, chestnut with flaxen or blond mane and tail with a white star.

And you asked specifically for Bandit, well, he's a blood bay with a white star and no leg markings.

ASPEN!!!! You're making a picture of the characters??? YES!!!! I've been waiting for someone like you to make a picture of them!!! So here are the main characters for you.

1. Chester
Chester is the chestnut you see on the front cover, and is the main character, so you don't really need to know much about him.

2. Ginger
Ginger is a pretty chestnut mare with a thin white stripe running down her face, and she's super funny and clever.

3. Bandit
You specifically mentioned Bandit, so I'll go full detail with him. Bandit is a blood bay stallion with a white star on his forehead. In the book, he's described as especially handsome, and his coat is glossy. If I remember correctly, he has green eyes.

4. Cara
Cara is a sandy palomino mare, with no markings. She's just flat sandy. No white mane or anything.

5. Rosie
Rosie is a shy but determined little bay pinto mare, and is Bandit's best friend.

6. Cigar
Cigar is an all black stallion, super evil, the main bad guy of the story.

7. Storm Cloud
A very self-absorbed and evil lead stallion, a gray, and not white, but flat gray stallion, rather evil, one of the side bad guys per say.

8. Shining Star
Chester's best friend before her death in the first chapter, she's a really pretty dappled gray filly, very sensible and respectable... I LOVED HER!!!

9. Frost Bite
A professional medicine stallion, Frost Bite is a white stallion.

10. Clover
A funny, and by funny, I mean hilarious chestnut stallion with a white star. The comic relief through all the intense drama.

OMG! I LOVE Bandit! Are you drawing him??? Oh, He's AMAZING!!!

The series is really new, like, it literally came out March 2018, so there aren't any pictures of the characters yet, trust me, I'd know, I've been looking for them, but Bandit is a really pretty blood bay stallion with a small white star, like a white dot, in between his eyes, kind of like American Pharaoh, except larger.

He's really charming, so in the picture, you could make him kind of flashing a grin at the person looking at the picture... OMG!!! I'm SOOO excited for this!!!

When will it be out, and where can I find it???

Why did Bandit turn evil???

As soon as I finished reading book 1, I found myself confused over one thing and one thing only. Why did Bandit turn on Chester? He used to be so nice and funny, and the end of the book he left me heartbroken. :( What was his problem? I mean, he turned good again in the end, but I just don't understand.
