Clydesdales do jump. My friend has a clydesdale that jumps 4'8 when she's conditioned (which she currently isn't) and she's also doing lower olympic level movements.

Thanks so much! I love reading all of these great comments! I looked back on the story and realized that there was a LOT I could fix, but I'm pretty proud of it! Yes, clydesdales can jump, the one I ride in lessons does, and in the next part I explain that it is a mixed breed. ;) look for part 2 now, everyone!

yes some Clydesdale do jump fences. I saw a photo of one once. If you cross breed them they can jump too!

WOW. This story is pure, pure magic! I adored it! It's easy to annoy a reader when you break an incident down into little snapshots where you flash forward and back in time, but you really pulled it off and the result is absolutely electrifying. I love it! Keep writing, please!

This is really good! You know how to get the readers attention, and the description was awesome. The only this is, Clydesdale's don't jump fences.
