Sorry! This isn`t a horse training story, it`s one I wrote myself.
Sarah gazed at the star-filled night sky-it was crystal clear, unlike anything else in her life right now she thought to herself. She missed her bay mare...her parents-divorced? It just didn`t-couldn`t-seem true!
Sarah had already asked both her parents if she could get another horse. Both had said no, because of money isssues and the divorce. Divorce. It was such an ugly word! Sarah absolutely hated it!
In times like this, Sarah would run to the barn and hop onto her Shatze. Since Shatze was gone now, she had nothing to do but cry into her pillow.
Shatze had been a bay mare mixed with every breed under the sky. Of course, that didn`t matter to Sarah! A couple of months ago, tragedy had struck.
Please comment for the rest of the story that I have written!

Last time: A couple of months ago, tragedy had truck!
To be continued...
************************************************************************************************
Shatze had come down with an illness that no one understood! The state veterinary clinic sent out their best vet; she took many, many tests on her, but all of them came back negative. Meanwhile, Shatze's condition was going downhill. Sarah stayed by her side, but things just never looked up! Then the day had come, the mare could barely stand up.
The vet said to the girl,"Honey, Shatze is not going to get better, we've tried all we can! The end is near..."
Sarah started to sob, but managed to say, "No...No! I-I won't let you!"
It just so happened that Sarah's parents were standing right behind her. Her father said, "Put the thing down! We don't need her-she's worthless. Just eats up our money!"
That made Sarah start sobbing even harder.
Sarah's mother tried to be more comforting, "Now, now Sarah! Shatze is nearing the end of her life! Remember Ecclesiastes 3:1-8?
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh,a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. It is Shatze's time to die! She is 22 years old, that's pretty old, honey!"

Will Shatze be put down?
