Good story. Brooke seems like a nice person but add a little more detail. And also I noticed a few times in your story that when you were putting "quotation" marks you never stopped after the person was done speaking. (example: "Hey how are you?" said Waylon) You just put the right through the *said...* Other than that good job and keep writing!
