Okay, so I personally have never worn chaps in English, but I think that tall boots would probably be best... you could try the chaps, but I don't know if they would work.

Okay, a little confused by your question... So, you ride in "split skirts"? And you have paddock boots?(Those are the short ones...)Personally, I think if you ride in "split skirts", or Koolots(however you spell that)that a pair of tall boots would look really cute!
