This is Ceder

This is Ceder

One cold stormy morning, I was woken up around 3 in the morning by the sound of a truck starting. I peeked out my window and found a truck with a horse trailer driving off!

I slipped on my boots, got on my motor scooter and followed the truck for about half an hour until they stopped at an alley way. There I climbed into the horse trailer, and there was my horse Ceder! "Ceder!" I quietly exclaimed. She nickered softly. I stroked her head and smiled at her kissing her nose. Suddenly the doors flew open, and I hid behind her.

"Oy! This one'll make a quick buck!" A teenage boy laughed. I gasped. Suddenly I let out a very weird sound. it was a mixture between a scream,a cry, and a hiccup. "What was that?" The boy asked. He smacked Ceder on her rump and she moved. And there he was. A smoking teenage boy glaring down at me.

"Aye Boss! Gotta stowaya' down 'er" an old man that smelled of tobacco and grease stepped into the trailer pushing Ceder away. "Aw." The old man laughed. "It's a lil' girly! Ha. Probably' commin' afta' her' here horsy'!" The guy and the boy both laughed. "Hope she likes mud!" laughed the boy. "I bet that lil' girly dun even know how ta' ride!" I stood up furiously.

"Shut up! I do too know how to ride! You two are just a bunch of sorry losers who like torturing horses!" Wow. did I just say all that? "Woa kid." The boy said. "You sure talk alotta smack for a city slicker!" The boy and the man both left the trailer laughing and they slammed the door shut and locked it.

"Oh Ceder! What do we do??" I asked as I began to cry. Ceder nickered again and nudged me. I hugged her neck and smiled.
