Because out of one of the heartland books its one of the best names impala (a chestnut mare) a polo pony, reminds me of a fast speedy beautiful appaloosa mare . Summer Storm is also out of the books but they call him storm as summer storm. It is his show name for jumping. It sounds powerful and beautiful at the same time
