Stay tuned for the answers!
*************** Uno gazed at the beautiful valley. Somewhere out there, was his Beautiful Cyril who he had chased away years ago. She was too independent. Right now she was probably the leader of a herd, or possibly traveling alone. A few grunts drew his attention to the herd, and he glanced back. Two colts were fighting. Uno gave a great whinny of disapproval and nipped them both. They then sulked quietly back to their dam's. Uno decided to continue North. He gave the directions, then the herd of 12 began their journey. With a loud clatter of hoof beats, His mare, Evita, and their filly Nova, were at his side. Evita, a strawberry roan nudged him, as they galloped along side each other. The little black Filly, Nova squealed in delight as she raced on her long legs.

Cyril tossed her neck in excitement. She pranced away from the Stallion Veto, as he galloped after her. She squealed, and galloped away, as he pranced closer. Cyril hid behind a mare and nickered. Quickly Cyril nipped the annoyed mare, and she trotted away. A young filly of the name Athalia, went crashing into Cyril's legs. Cyril nipped her in the shoulder, and the foal squealed. Her dam approached.

"Cyril, where shall we go to next?" The dam, Eloisa, asked as she shooed her foal away.

"I've decided we find those dreadful Mustangs. We need to show them that we're better." Cyril whinnied, looking far south.

Eloisa sighed and whinnied, "Not everything's about you Cyril." and then she trotted away. Cyril grunted, and reared up. She thought about that awful Uno who despised her. She whinnied the news to the herd, and they galloped south.

Evita slowed to a trot, and breathed heavily. "Uno, we need to rest." The filly was still galloping along side her father. Uno needed to find his Cyril. He needed to apologize. But what about Evita? What would happen to his beautiful filly? Neediness suddenly bubbled up inside of him. He NEEDED to find Cyril. He needed to see her and apologize. He needed to be by her side. Uno could not get over his love for her! He sent a message to speed up. He would find her tonight.

The Frivolous mare cantered on,followed by Veto. He sidestepped closer to his beloved Cyril, and nickered a greeting. Cyril Whinnied in delight.

"Where are we going?" Veto asked, galloping to catch up.

"To Destroy Uno and his herd. I'm going to tear his flesh, and destroy his foals. I'm going to break every bone in his body and let him bleed to death!" Cyril squealed.

"That sounds malicious..." Veto laughed.

"Good." Cyril grunted.

She peeked back to make sure her whole herd was there. She made a checklist in her mind, "Veto, Cyril ,Athalia, Eloisa, Abril, Erigone, Falla, Nestor, Rambo, Mika, Yosemite, Gil, Alizay, and the newest Colt Asfour.

The wild pony herd

The wild pony herd

Uno heard heavy breathing behind him, along with a stammer of hooves, and a thud on the ground. Almost instantly, a squeal sounded through the air. Uno stopped and gazed back sullenly, not wanting to guess what had happened. His guess was right. He whinnied to the youngest filly who had collapsed on the ground. Her sides were heavy with long heavy sighs. Her dam whinnied in grief to Uno, as she touched noses with her foal.

"Evonna..." Her mother sighed as the foal squealed. Uno made a decision. He checked Evonna over and realized her front knees were both broken from running. Uno, deceivingly, Signaled the herd to canter on. The pitiful, and sorrowful mare, the dam of the filly, refused to join. So the rest of the herd left them there alone.

Cyril almost squealed when she saw tiny black dots moving closer in the south. "Uno's herd!" She guessed in delight. "Veto look! Uno's herd!" She nickered to her loved one. He whinnied in agreement. Within 5 minutes of non-stop gallop, the foals were almost to exhaustion. Cyril, to her dismay, decided to stop for a rest. She investigated the group, and fortunately, all were accounted for. After the break, the dots proved to be a herd of wild ponies. They past gracefully under the valley on which Cyril's herd stood.

"Onward." She demanded, and the exhausted herd trotted down the steep rocky hill, to the valley below. Cyril quickly dodged a giant bolder, then suddenly reared up, as a huge snake struck out! She bucked and galloped down the hill at an unsafe speed, followed by her herd.

The herd was left silent and pitiful, after the leaving of the foal and her dam. Uno was continued to go North, only holding onto his love for Cyril.

"Uno. Where exactly are we going?" Evita suddenly nickered, nudging him in the shoulder.

"To find-er-just-it's a surprise." He stammered, nipping Nova as she slammed in front of him.

"Stay back Nova!" He warned. Sweat dripped from his neck and face, and his veins and muscled bulged. The filly sped forward on her long powerful legs. Uno sure was proud. He suddenly realized something. Cyril was heart broken-devastated, when Uno left her. All that hurt probably turned to hate, and she'd probably want to fight. Uno glanced over at his beloved Evita, and their beautiful foal Nova. He glanced back at the heaving sides of his herd, and decided to slow to a quick walk. The herd did so willingly.

The on-growing hate for Uno and his herd kept her going. She wanted to see him fall to the ground, defeated. She suddenly drew her attention South. There. A herd was trotting towards them. Cyril caught sight of the leader and reared up. She squealed and began running in circles. The leader was white with red markings---Uno!

"VETO! Look Veto Look!" She cried nipping the stallion. Veto danced around a bit, the reared up joining her in the excitement.

Uno glanced up at the large cliff top. He suddenly stopped dead in his track. There was a herd of black horse--Frisian horses! Cyril!

"Look at those horses!" Evita whinnied. Uno nodded and said,"Let us go meet them." Then they turned their coarse for the cliff. Uno imagined Cyril, but this time he imagined her rearing over him, with her sharp feathered hooves daring to crash upon him. Suddenly he didn't feel too good about his plan. What about Evita? She was his wife? What's going to happen? Uno decided to continue forward, one step at a time.

The herd advanced towards Cyril's.

"Let us descend!" And with that, the galloping herd descended the rocky cliff of treacherous heights. Cyril's mane flew in the wind. Her muscles bulged. Soon the Herds Collided. The horses circled around each other, getting to know each other. Cyril suddenly spotted Uno. Hate and despair began to grow inside of her. Her whole body burned like fire. She galloped over to him, and threw him a hate filled glare. Uno stared up at her, with those loving brown eyes. She suddenly stared into them, and forgot her hate. But soon enough, it grew stronger! She reared up at him, hoping to catch him with a hoof.

Cyril reared up at Uno. He quickly back away, showing Nova and Evita behind him.

"Cyril...." Uno whispered. He stared longingly at her strong body. He missed her graceful touch, the warm look in her eyes. Evita suddenly burst out, and body slammed into Cyril.

"Leave my husband alone!" She squealed nipping Cyril's shoulder. Cyril leaped up at Evita, and stroke her in the head with a heavy hoof. Uno grunted and reared up at Cyril.

"Let us fight to the death!" She squealed so everyone could hear her.

A fight broke out among the herds. It was dreadful, and sad to see. Horses screamed in pain, as others fought to the death. Already foals and mares and stallions were laying dead on the ground. Cyril suddenly spotted Uno's Evita. She glanced back to make sure he wasn't looking. He was being pumbled by Veto. Cyril slowly crept over to Evita and Nova. She grunted, then reared up, and landed hard on Nova's frail little body.

"Nooo!" Cried Evita, as her body slammed into Cyril. The foal lay on the ground, lifeless. Anger suddenly bubbled up inside of Evita. She didn't care how much bigger Cyril was than her. She gave it her all, and bucked Cyril. She caught her in the head, and Cyril side stepped, crashing into Uno. He looked at her, and then Veto reared up at him. Quickly he galloped away. Evita tried again to kick Cyril, but Cyril reared up at Evita, and got her in the chest. Cyril pawed the air, and landed again on Evita who was now laying on the ground begging for mercy. Cyril reared up and again landed hard on Evita, this time crashing into Her throat latch. Evita's sides heaved with long heavy sighs. She was on the verge of death.

Cyril, happy with her work skipped away. A sudden loud clanging bang filled the air. A horse's scream followed it, then silence followed the scream. A dozen or so jeeps crashed through the herds, crashing into many horses. The horse's scattered, as the humans raised up their guns. They shot and shot and shot. Suddenly, Veto fell to the ground. Cyril stopped and looked at her loved one. There was nothing she could do now.

Uno stood over his beloved Evita and Nova,as they lay lifeless on the ground. Uno felt terrible..Defeated. He turned around, puffed out his chest and called,

"CYRIL! I AM HERE!" The mare turned her attention towards the stallion. He stood, beautifully upon a giant rock. In front of his dead family. Cyril shoved all her energy down to her hooves and bounded towards him at a full speed gallop. Uno forced his eyes shut, and stood his ground. Cyril leaped over a large boulder, and continued on. Everything went silent. The gunshots, the screams, the blood in her veins. Everything was quiet. Everything became but a blur, everything besides Uno. Cyril suddenly realized why she wanted to find Uno. It wasn't t tear him apart, or to wreck his herd. It wasn't to defeat him and be known as the best. Cyril wanted to find him, because of her on growing love for him. She wanted to be with him,and feel his soft coat, and see into his warm welcoming brown eyes. All this time....she was wrong. She squeezed her eyes shut, and came to an abrupt stop. Her ears were flat upon her poll. Her knees began to shake. She just realized what she had done...all who she had killed.....Cyril had killed herself..on the inside. She collapsed on the ground, and hung her head low in shame.

Time seemed to stop, as Uno slowly paced towards the mare. He grabbed her forelock that hung over her face in his mouth, and tossed it aside. Uno could now see the beautiful star that was on her forehead. Cyril opened her eyes and peered up at Uno. He nickered....she nickered back. Slowly she stood up and called to her herd. Uno did the same. Together the herds galloped along side each other, away from the humans, away from the bloody valley.

"I know of a shoreline... close to here.. it's beautiful during the sunset." Uno called, turning right. The horses followed, but only few remained.

Uno and Cyril galloped along side each other, admiring the beauty of the sunset. Cyril suddenly reared up and called,

"Let the herds unite as one!" and so they did.

Days passed, then weeks, then months. Soon 11 months passed, and a foal was born. He was a colt of beautiful color. "Adicus" was a Pinto Friesian cross, and he was VERY fast. Uno and Cyril raised up a huge herd, and forgot their differences.
