Brown Sunshine of Sawdust Valley

Molly Moore has dreamed of having a horse of her own. But, know-it-all Freddy Westover owns show horses and only lets her ride Della, the slowest horse of all. Molly only can ride her once around the arena (walking).

On Molly's tenth birthday, Molly and her dad go to an auction. The auction goes on and her dad bids all his money. They get an old mare that Molly has to share with her dad. Soon, they get a wonderful surprise! The mare has a mule baby!!
