We love how creative this horse costume for Halloween is - and what an awesome horse! Here's how Andrea made it.

How did you come up with your costume idea?

Well, my horse General Lee is a white horse so I thought he would work good as a dalmatian. I asked my friend if she could help me design the costume. It's great to have good friends (KISSY).

Black spots painted on my horse would be easy painting on but a pain to wash off lol. Also my horse can do tricks like a dog. He can lay down, pick up toys, smile, hug and bow.

How did you make it?

My friend designed the ears and the dog collar with the gold dog tag. She made the shaw and the dog tail also. She is very creative! I bought the wig, ring, cigarette and purse.I had all the rest of the stuff at my house. The dress was a Christmas dress I only wore once. It is good to wear it more than time. lol I also had the shoes from back in the 80's haha.

How much does it cost?

It was about $40 to make this costume.

Where did you wear it?

I wore this costume yesterday at a Horsey Halloween Canned food drive contest. I received a 2nd place in the movie category. Boy there were amazing costumes there for sure.

How did people react?

The judges really liked the tricks my horse did for them. He bowed and smiled for them.

How did your horse like it?

My horse wears a horse ear bonnet in the summer so the ears did not bother him. He was definitely a good boy.
