The Secret Horse

This is a book I have read! I got so into the book one night that I read half of it the same day!

This book is about a girl named Nickie that always went to horse camp every summer. Unfortunately Nickie's dad discovered termite damage that needs to be fixed...meaning that Nickie won't be able to afford horse camp this summer!

As Nickie's mother lets her go to the animal shelter to get a cat to take her mind off of horse camp, she finds a half-starved unwanted horse!

Will she be able to save the horse with out her parents finding out and before that horse will be taken to be euthanized?
