Callander Hall Equestrian Center

Callander Hall is one of the largest and cleanest barn i've ever been to, and i've been to many barns! There is 20 stalls, 16 horses(still lot's of room!), Tack room, feed room, hayloft, 2 LARGE pastures, 9 paddocks and indoor arena + outdoor arena where you have to trail ride to get there! Now I will name all the horses at Callander Hall! There is... Charles, Sampson, Leggs(a.k.a cookies & cream), Speedy(a.k.a Boo-Boo), Ben, Orko, Epiphany, Maddy, Isa, Icicle, China, India, Barge(that sadly just passed away, cry...), Kidd, Berkley and Hawk! There is also summer camps you can go to and it's very safe and fun! Lot's of crafts and games on horseback (favourite was the turtle race) and just normal (my favourite was Horse Monoply!;) ) I hope you come visit sometime, if you want more info please comment!

H - Sorry for the confusion but I think you had submitted two different reviews about Callender Hall so I put them together - that way they could be found if someone was looking for your stable. And we try not to publish rider's names with the stable where they ride (for safety). That's why we try to put a horsecrazy rider instead of a name. Sorry if it was confusing!!

riding Ben
by: A horsecrazy rider

TRUE: One summer I went to Callander Hall for the summer camp! I rode a 16.1hh horse( I was just starting so it was probably not the best idea to go hope on such a big horse!) Ben is a bay warmblood / appaloosa cross and is a gentle giant who will do anything you ask of him! Now let me tell you what i did starting at the grooming... First I groomed Ben with all the brushes, tacked him up, then all the students gathered around the instructor. Some students rode the pony Charles and some people rode the giant Ben... There was only 3 people riding Ben, I think the rest were all too scared!Lol's! As I was sitting down on the chair in the corner of the arena, rolling my eyes at this boy and girl saying... "I'm going first!" "NO i'm going first!", as my instructor was tightening the girth. "I'll pick who is going first!" She said. "Oh great" I thought."How about you?" she said staring at me getting ready to adjust the length of the stirrups. "OK." My stomach bounced. I hopped on Ben and it felt amazing! I got so much air doing the rising trot! I wondered how it must of felt cantering! That day was sure amazing! I can't wait till' this summer!
