Before I start, I would like to tell you a little bit about what this is about and if this is real or fiction, so you can know what's going on. So, let's get started. (If you want to skip this part, go ahead.) I love horses, and always have. I first met a horse when I was 3 years old and let me tell you it was love at first sight. I am the 2nd oldest of 4 with 3 brothers. This story is about my HUGE (100+) Schleich horses. If you do not know what they are, Schleich is a brand which makes realistic models of animals. They are cheaper, smaller versions of Breyers of you know what Breyers are. They range from 5-15 dollars per horse. I tell stories all the time to my brothers, so I hope this will work. Here goes nothing!

My name is Adventurer. I am the wild-child girl of the family, Zarah, my sister is girly and dreams of dressage. Me, I prefer racing and playing tag with my brother, Dodger. He is very fast. I live with my adoptive family, a nice mare, Lila (Who is a beautiful friesian) and her 2 colts, ShowTime and Hersey. Hersey looks like his Mom (dam), and ShowTime looks like his Dad (sire). They are both very fun and very, very different. Hersey is small and a little shy. He is often hiding beside his mother.

ShowTime is flashy and likes to showoff his coat. They are both nice and polite, though I think it is hard to get to know Hersey unless you live with him. Maybe I should tell you about my Mom and Dad and the life before Sunshine stables, when it wasn't all Sunshine and Stables. No, it wasn't. Before this, we had a Mom. She was very pretty and looked like Zarah. I like to think she was a Very Important Horse. But I do not know. All I know is she was a quarter horse and she was my Mom and she is not alive. She was very smart and taught us what we needed to know. Then Mom was going to a very important place that I know now is called a "show". The people came with her body she was carried into a trailer and a black truck pulled the trailer away. The place we were was called Barnyard: Breed, Show, Sell. It was nice enough, but there was so many horses and so many people coming in and out, we couldn't possibly be perfectly cared for.

Our Sire, we saw 1 time and 1 time only. He was a spitting image of Dodger. He was strong and healthy so I think he is still alive. After Mom died, the tall man sold us. First he sold Zarah to a little girl and me to a breeder to be a bloodmare and Dodger to a skinny man who owned show horses. First Zarah was bought because the little girl went to college and Lisa was looking for horses for her farm. Dodger and me were traced and bought. Now here I am!

Hallo! My name is Doder. I have 2 sisters and love to race; My Hooves dance. Do you know what Dodger means? It means "One who dodges or evades." I dodge the other horses. I race. I fly. (Never thought a horse could fly, did you.) I pass the other horses. I don't care who or how tall or big or stinky (well, maybe a little). My heritage traces back to the fastest and strongest horses in the world. What I am trying to say is that I am born for racing. I am born for running. I feel the tingle in my feet. I smell the sent in the wind. I am ready. To run.

I am Zarah. I have a sister, named Adventurer, and a brother, named Dodger. Dodger is a little annoying and teases me about my dream of being a dressage horse. He says that is a silly dream. That is not true, is it? Sometimes I want to tell him that racing is a silly dream too. I would say "Hump. So there. " But then I say "Zarah, breathe. Would a show horse do that?" So I collect myself together. I look up the sunshine stables show horses, who are very important horses, like Fleur and Storm. Fleur is a show jumper and sassy. She is an arab. Storm is a Dressage horse with a calm and collected attitude. She is my hero. So when I say "Would a Show horse do that?" I am saying "Would Storm do that?" My greatest hope is one day I will be a show horse.

That is the end of the story of Dodger, Adventurer, and Zarah. If you like this story or schleich horses, please write in the comments. I will try to respond.
