My Thoughts on Horse Slaughter

I've loved all my life. But humans are being stupid and killing these animals God made. Horse slaughter is happening everywhere even in our own country the united states. If you're in Europe be careful of what kind of meat you eat they still sell horse meat over there as food for Europeans.

I recently heard of a foal auction in my state. Foal's dams are gonna be sent to the slaughter house and the foals that didn't get a home got put down.

That is sad I would be real mad if the horse I take care of whom is called Tiger was sent to the slaughter house. I would've put a picture but they were to disturbing.

We all know that animals around the world are slaughtered, but this is a horse website. This girl is talking about HORSES. Sorry if you find me rude, but I wanted to let you know.

i know what you mean. where i live, great britain, two men go to horse sales buy as many horses as possible and push them into a tiny van and take them off to the slaughter. i don't think you are silly about animal slaughter.

Um, you mustn't like any other animals, that is, if you call yourself an animal lover... I used to live in Germany, and we ate horse, as well as other types of meat. Horses are treated very well compared to what other animals endure.
Did you know that 6 billion day-old cow calves are sent to slaughter each year? Or that 12 million chicks are gassed each year? Or that female pigs spend their whole life in a stall. and they can't turn around in, or lie down in? Their piglets are born and slaughtered in these horrible conditions.

I have been vegetarian for 3 years now, and it is the best thing that I have ever engaged in. I love horses, own them, but, at the end of the day, they are eaten all over the world-it is common to eat them in India, all over Europe and is sold in everyday products all over the world... glue, salami, shampoo, etc, etc. Please read the website
