Mustangs

Mustangs

Here is my poem........please comment!

Foals frisking and playing in the daylight sun
Galloping and playing just for fun
Colts mock-fighting in the setting sun
While mares nurse their young
Stallions watch over their herds with care
Keeping caution on the cougars who dare
The herd grazes, the stallion sighs
He can see no danger through his eyes
He lifts his muzzle, delicate and white
High in the starry black night
He senses danger
Rounds up his herd
Off goes the mustangs
As if they were never here
