Hi my horse is an Appaloosa, 13hh, really sweet but so girthy! As soon as you do up the girth she bites and squirms and is hard to handle. Great when riding and mounting!

Please help!! Any Ideas!!!

Bucking

Show your pony who's boss. I understand that you may be skeptical, but it worked with the horse that I ride. She's a 9 year old quarter horse who tries to nip me whenever I walk into her stall. Make your hands into pretend "teeth" and "bite" her with ten. It reminds me of how a dominant horse keeps a younger horse in place in the wild.
Good luck!!

galloping only

She gives an excited buck when you gallop but not while walking, trotting and cantering.

same thing with a horse I have ridden, has she ever bucked if you competed, like racing against another horse? If so, your horse might have a rib out of place.
