Waimak River Horse Treks (Canterbury NZ)

I work at Waimak, and it's a great place to be! There are beginner, intermediate and advanced treks, pony rides, pony treks and wagon rides. There are fully qualified instuctors, so there are lessons as well.
I ended up working at Waimak because I went to the school holiday riding program, and the owner saw something in me. She suggested I come for lessons, but we couldn't afford it. She said that if I work there then I can get free lessons and treks! How cool is that!
The treks, depending on length and experience, usually go through the river. Otherwise we walk beside it. It always looks so beautiful.
I've been on some pretty great treks, made a lot of great friends, and learnt a lot about horses.
I like a lot of horses there, but my favourite horse is called Cadbury. I try to ride her as much as possible in my spare time with the owner's granddaughter. Cadbury isn't a trek horse, but she can teach so much. She taught me to canter and jump ^^
