Thoroughbred Series Book 40 by: Ummmm Lady
This series by Joanna Campbell - has up to 72 books but the first few are about Ashliegh Griffen who lives and rides on a thoroughbred racing and training farm... then there are a few after that about her daughter Christina and her wanting to compete in the Olympics and her cousin Melanie wanting to race horses... in the end they are both racing and buying horses of their own...
These books are the ones that started me reading in the first place. so if you love stories bout the bond between horse and rider i recommend these books because they just keep you reading and reading... =D

It is about a girl Ashleigh Miller and she is a really great rider they are really good and I am up to #4 and it is called horse mad Heroes. So far it is nice and exciting but it will get even more better. Ashleigh's horse is named Honey. A beautiful Chestnut mare. I have all of the horse mad books apart #6 coming soon. I am telling you that you should read them they are so interesting and so good and exciting.

This book is about a girl named Ashleigh who's family owns a horse farm. Things start going downhill at one point. First,some horses are stolen, their most valuable horse and her foal. When they get them back again,a virus sweeps through their farm killing almost every horse. The end is bittersweet.

I love this series! I've read Phantom Stallion/Wild Horse Island,Heartland,Saddle Club,Sandy Lane Stables,Chesnut Hill,Winnie the Horse Gentler,Starlight Animal Rescue. I am now reading the thoroughbred series and I am currently on Arabian Challenge(#22)I don't know how anyone could not like this series, it's amazing!

i have read and am now re-reading all of the books my favs are #36: WITHOUT WONDER, #37: STAR IN DANGER, #44: PERFECT IMAGE, #28: CAMP SADDLEBROOK, and #29: MELANIE'S LAST RIDE
though as i read through the series i for a lot of errors after the extra authors wrote like in a one book don't remember which the call Wonder Townsend Wonder and Pride is addressed as Townsend Pride which all of you know is wonders sire
fav horses are Wonder obviously, Glory, Fleet Goddess, Wonder's Star, Image, and Sterling Fav character is Christina i just love this series it is the best and when i finally get a job im by all of the books including the Super Editions, and the The Ashleigh Series good luck to you all in your reading!!

it's about girls aged 10 to 36 and the horses in their life (thoroughbreds) and the races they win like the Kentucky Derby, the Belmont, the Preakness and the Breeder's cup. Not to mention the Dubai world cup! this is an unmissable series with 72 in the immediate series and a huge 3 different special edition series!

I just finished reading all 72 books of the ThoroughBred Series. Won't tell anything, but the ending is very creative. The ThoroughBred books are incredibly good-I found out about them by mistake! I ordered Saddle Club books from the library, and instead they gave me the ThoroughBred. Decided to read them too, and was I sure lucky! Read them-even if you don't enjoy reading about horseracing, they are horse books that everyone has to try. Great job Joanna Campbell!

Why is it awesome? Well you become attached as much as alisha does to the filly. Why do you think you should read this? You never put the book down. You will feel like you're in the book and there are problems that happen to Alisha. READ TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS! it will be great. I am on the 4# book. Love it.

If you guys love horses then you have to read the Thoroughbred Series. They have great plots to them and if you start reading one book and finish it you'll have to read another. Somethings you should know before reading the books are: #1 you should read them in order because there are two generation and you might not understand. #2 There are many different authors who write them. #3 There is a main series-Thoroughbred, Super Editions, and a mini series-Ashleigh. #4 They are additive and you won't want to put them down. #5 If you don't like horses then don't read them.

Ashleigh lives on a famous racing stables and trains a filly who wins the Kentucky Derby. And eventually she owns her own race horse, trains a few, and is a jockey. I have only read up to number 8, so I think theirs quite a bit more to the series!

I do love the books, they are rather addictive. Granted I only have a few and I go to the library to borrow them so they don't have them all but it drives me crazy how the different authors don't keep up with all of the important horses (i.e. The ones that some of the books are based around , Glory, Champion, and Fleet Goddess to name a few.) And as far as I can tell Cindy just dropped off the Grid. Maybe Its because I'm missing a few books here and there but it really drives me crazy. But its one of my favorite series.
