Stevie and Carole are students at the pine hollow riding stables. Lisa comes to Pine Hollow and is a new student. Stevie and Carole go riding and they decide to head back to pine hollow.

Lisa's mother is driving up the drive way of pine hollow when Stevie and Carole come riding on their horses and Lisa's mum almost runs them over. At that moment Stevie and Carole hated Lisa and her mum because Lisa's mum had almost killed their horses.

Time passes and Stevie, Carole and Lisa are at a jumping place with Max, the Pine Hollow owner. The students have to jump over the jumps and Veronica the mean girl from Pine Hollow she puts a pager on Stevie's horse's blanket. Lisa tries to warn Carole and Stevie but Carole and Stevie won't listen to her.

Stevie jumps for the jump but during the pager goes off and Stevie's horse gets scared and it bucks. Stevie falls off the horse and Lisa and Carole go to Stevie's rescue. At that moment, a friendship between Stevie, Lisa and Carole is created and they form a club called the Saddle club and they sing in it and go out for club rides.
