TEAMWORK

TEAMWORK. That's the key word. You and your horse need to come together as one and trust each other. This may sound like I got it from a movie, but it's true. If you want to be able to ride the horse you're training, then you need to earn the horse's trust and eventually you two will be inseparable.

An example of this would be the movie Flicka. The girl worked with that horse and took it one day at a time. She took it slow. Flicka went from being wild, to being the perfect horse. Nobody gave that horse a chance exept the girl. I would tell you more, but it would be better if you just watched the movie. The point is, that's what you need to do in order to train your horse.
