Spirit of Fire is kinda a new book.( In fact my mom is not done with it! I have read up to the ninth chapter but moms stuck on it):

It is about a young colt named Sunprince who is raised in a herd of wild Arabian horses. Eventually, he is driven out by his sire and joins a bachelor herd. The story is mainly focused around those years of solitude........( Look for it on bookshelves!)
