I came up with the idea for Roxy's costume while looking online. Roxy is a 14.2 bay mare who will do absolutely anything. She is pretty much bombproof and this is the first year I could dress up my very own horse, being that Roxy is the first pony I've ever owned.

I started looking around for pool party themed stuff, but being the middle of September, it was a little difficult. Everything I got for her costume was a bargain. I came up with the idea for Roxy's costume while looking online. Everything I got for her costume was a bargain though, finding her pool ring and my swim vest brand-new at garage sales was a huge plus. I used a pool ring around her neck, a beach towel on her butt, goggles around her ears, and last but not least, a snorkel attached to her bridle.

Everybody was astonished at how relaxed Roxy was when I put the pool ring around her head and she simply stood there, without a care in the world. I think it went great and I'm already on the hunt for next years costume. I think it might be a little hard to top this years idea, but that doesn't mean we won't try.
