Mandy Hope has known these people for a very long time. They have a pony called Prince, but when they move they sell Prince to a girl called Susan who is horrid. When she is determined to win a gymkharna she puts her horse at risk. Mandy realises he has a serious allergy, but Susan doesn't care. She nearly kills him.
