In Moondance Alexander, a girl named Moondance isn't very popular. She always gets pushed around and laughed at. Then while riding her bike, she gets surprised by a horse standing in the middle of the road.

The horse got sent back to his old stable Tumbleweed Stables. Then, Moondance feels bad because Checkers (Moondance named the horse Checkers)gets cooped up in a stall all day. She finds the stable by hitting a rock and rolling down a hill with her bike. She runs into the owner of the stable and asks for a trade. She takes care of the horses if she gets to ride Checkers. He agrees.

Then the two popular girls that bug her all the time, Fiona and Megan, say Checkers is a misfit and doesn't belong in jumping because he is a Pinto.

Then the owner of Tumbleweed Stables, Dauntay, says Checkers is a very good jumper, so Moondance persuades him to train her to jump. Then she enters the Bow River Classic along with Megan and Fiona. That's my summary on Moondance Alexander.

It's an awesome movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT IS SUCH AN AWESOME MOVIE! I absolutely loved it!!! It was not only a "clean" movie, but it had a great ending and good acting. I liked the girl who played Moondance, Kay Panabaker, and the girl who played Fiona, Olympic medalist Sasha Cohen. Yes, I watched the special features interveiews!

I love this movie! It is about friendless Moondance Alexander (Kay Panabaker). She has a boring summer until she meets Checkers a pinto pony and she trains him to go to a big show jumping competition! Very good movie---a must see!!

i love this movie
its about a girl named moondance and shes having some friend trouble in school then its summer break she delivers packages to ppl and one time she was on her way to deliver one a paint horse jumpes out infront of her she brings it home with her and tries to ride it but she doesnt know how to ride lol so she falls off lol:) in the end she ends up going in a big jumpng show and she wins!!! :)
its a must see movie!!!!:)

Great Movie

It is a super great movie! My friend and I watched it tons of times! It is about a girl who finds a pinto horse she names Checkers, and gets a job at a stables called Tumbleweed Stables where Checkers is. She works hard, and in return she gets to ride Checkers. When she learns Checkers is a great jumper, she enters him into a showjumping show. Will she win? Will Checkers be judged umfairly because he's a pinto? There's only one way to find out!!!

this movie is uplifting and a great movie for all young riders and horse lovers it is all about this girl called moondance and she finds a horse and with spirit and determination she trains it up and wins the bow river classic.
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHETHER THEY ARE HORSIE PEOPLE OR NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moondance Alexander review

In this movie MoonDance is working for a man that owns a tack shop. Then one day she had to make a delivery to a forgotten barn way out in the country. On the way there she found a paint horse. She took him home. She kept it in the shed until the owner came to pick him up. She didn't make the delivery the day that she found the horse(Checkers). So, she had to make the delivery the next day back to the same place. When she did she found the barn that Checkers belonged to and got a summer job there. She jumped Checkers and.....watch it to see what happens.

This is a GREAT movie to watch and it is a little sad, but it was worth watching it.! :)

its about a girl who finds a pinto, and bargains with the owner. 2 find his owner.once she does she takes lessons with the owner and bonds with the pony... i wont give the amazing and happy ending away...good for people who cant seem to find an English riding movie'

great horse movie!

It's a great movie about a girl who just wants to it in. However she can't because the horse she rides isn't supposed to be able to be a show jumper. I think it's a little racist against paints but it's still a phenominal (sorry for misspelling) movie!
