Lets Ride! Riding Star

It is really good! You get to jump and ride outside and do dressage and do cross country. You get to pick your horse out of three kinds--the show jumping horse, the dressage horse and the cross country horse.

TIP: Get the dressage horse first, it is the easiest.

Challenging, but Fun
by: Anonymous

For all the disciplines, it's hard to get the timing right. For dressage I would really have to exaggerate the mouse movements for the special gaits. I guess this game is a lesson on putting time in to training and caring for your horse, because leveling up is time consuming. However, the graphics and audio are the most accurate in any horse game I've ever played.

Help!!!! I can't get past level two for show jumping! It's so hard! If you have anything that could help me get at least 2nd place then I'd be so happy. Please let me know if you have any tips or hints for getting at least 2nd place in show jumping.

How To Get Past the First Level (Lemby)
by: Hanna

I've had this game for a long time now, and I finally figured out how to get into the second class. You have to place first in all three competitions: cross country, dressage, and show jumping. That's the trick. Keep doing that in all the levels with all the classes and you will continue to move up. And btw, when you get to show jumping in Aachen, you have to jump the water jumps at a gallop and it will help you to get over them.

I've seen a couple of people saying that there was a secret level in this game. If anyone knows what they are talking about, could you please shed some light on the subject?

Thanks and I hope this helps you! - Hanna

Let's Ride - Riding Star
by: Hanna

Hi!

I just bought this game off of Amazon and it was new.

I find the graphics are pretty good compared to other games that I've played. My favorite riding discipline is the show jumping - it's not easy but fun. The dressage I don't particularly care for; I found the movements complicated and hard to perform. If you don't get it just right you get a horridly low score. Sometimes - even if you are doing the right thing - the horse doesn't perform the right movement. The cross country isn't so bad though the jumps are limited in variety and somewhat unrealistic.

The only thing that has totally disappointed me is that I cannot move up to the next level in either jumping types even if I make both courses perfectly. I have won both C.C. and S.J. but I STILL haven't actually won anything. Another thing is that the care of your horse is very limited. You cannot muck the stall(s) nor is there a large variety of feeds and treats for your horse. I hate to discourage anyone who is looking to buy this game or who has and enjoys it - these are just my thoughts.

My overall idea of this game is that the riding is fun, challenging, and realistic. The grooming and care is, however, limited and not very entertaining. I've had three of the Let's Ride games: Dreamer, Friends Forever, and Riding Star. My favorite of them is Friends Forever.

I hope this helps anyone who is looking for an equestrian PC game!
