King of the Wind a horsecrazygirls.com fave!

This is an amazing story written by the same author who wrote the Misty of Chincoteague books. It is a beautiful and magical tale of Agba, a servant boy who goes on many adventures across the world with Sham, an Arabian Stallion. It reminds me of Black Beauty in the way that they go through many difficult times.

This is a beautiful story. I listened to it on tape and parts of it were hard to understand, but the story was so good I didn't care.

Great book

Omg I can't believe no one has recommended this book yet!!! it is one of the best books I've ever read. And I read ALOT. It's about one of the stallions who founded the thoroughbred. It's the horse's life story with his stable boy who raised him...... I've reread it soooooo many times its the best book.

Note from Sydney: We have recommended it...I love it! And we have made it part of our summer reading contest!

Awesome!
by: Windcall

This book is awesome! I love all of Marguerite Henry's books, but this one is definitely my favorite! The drawings, by Wesley Dennis, are quite intricate and accurate, and portray the Godolphin Arabian beautifully. I hope to use this for a book report!

Sydney's Note: Your answers to the book contest question are all correct Windcall. You are in the contest!
