Just Might Change Your Life - Chapter 2
(North Carolina, U.S.A)
"I'll miss you very much" I cried. Trooper neighed softly.
Matt soon returned with his father who brought his truck. Mr.Walker checked Trooper and let out a loud sigh. "Well there's nothing we can do for him." he said as he walked to his truck and pulled out a rifle.
"Why don't y'all go up to the house." said Matt's father who was trying hard not to show emotion.
"Emma let's go!" said Matt who was trying his best to hold me back. Mr.Walker walked up to me.
"Sweetheart there's nothing you can do for him now. You need to let him go."
"But I can't" I cried.
"You have to..."
After he talked to me he helped me in the truck. Matt turned the key and put the car in drive. Then we drove back to the house. As we drove we didn't say a word to each other. Then suddenly I heard it, the gunshot. I leaned up against Matt, he tried his best to comfort me but it didn't work I was still upset.
Later that afternoon a truck with an excavator drove into the woods to dig out a hole for my beloved friend.
