horsing around, COFF'S HARBOUR, NSW, australia

by Kahlia
(melboune, VIC, Australia)

me on pip.

me on pip.

i went on a trail ride when i went on xmas holidays.
it was the 1st time i have ever rode a horse and it was easier than i thought.
i rode a cute little pony called pip and she was sooo easy to ride.
my brother rode a horse called buddy and my dad rode a horse called gonzo, and boy was he BIG!!!
i dont know what breed they all were though.
i think the horse that my brother rode was an arab.
we got to walk on a 1 hour ride through beautiful rainforrests and we got to canter twice.
my dad's horse held up the group though because everytime we went to canter, he would just stand there and not budge with ears down. eventually, i managed to overtake dad and lead the group (staff who took as on the trail) but my dad overtook me again
i had heps of fun!! the only thing was that we were ment to go on the 2 hour trail ride but the trail was flooded so we had to go on the 1hour trail.
on the way back, we got to see there paddocks and they had alot of horses. at least 20 of all breeds and colours.
i would love to go there again (and hopefully i am).
and i would recommend it to anyone!
i had fun and so would you.

I would love to go there! I looked up Coff's Harbour online and it looks gorgeous. My mom and I really, really want to go to Australia and New Zealand and the only thing I want to do is ride there! So maybe we will join you someday. :-)
