you should both check your facts... heartland was initially a book series and has since been adapted into a television series which should be starting its third season towards the end of this year. I believe it's been aired in canada, not so sure about elsewhere.

IT IS A BOOK! there is no film made of it. it ios a 20 book series plus specials by lauren brooke.
