The dream pony 2: Aries the adventurer - Part 1

Alex sat in the stall, waiting for news about Aries.

"We just got the news." Said the boy walking into the stall. Alex now knew his name was Seth but what's more she kinda liked him. Alex held her breath.

"I'm sorry, Aries has been horse-napped." he announced. Alex's heart sank in fact Alex could even feel it in her feet, no, now it was on the ground and it wasn't beating.

Alex sighed, she was so sad, it felt like all the excitement in her life, had just drifted away... Alex knew that the only way it would come back is if Aries came back. She looked into Seth's eyes.

"No that would never happen." She thought. She slumped down on the ground. Seth sat down beside her and held her hand.

Alex's thoughts about her and Seth got pulled out of her mind as his girlfriend Winnie walked in to the stall. Winnie was not a very horsy person, in fact she hated that Seth worked here. She loathed horses. Alex did not know how anyone could not like horses. She thought about the man she bought Bella from, he hated Bella.

Bella was Aries mother and she must have bred with a friesan because Aries was definitely half friesan. She had a flowing black mane and very long feathers. Aries was not a bit like her mother, if you looked at them both they looked like opposites!

Aries did have some of her mother's features though, she had the same dished nose and the same big brown eyes and her beauty... Alex had never seen her sire so she wondered if the beauty was from both of them or just Bella.

"C'mon babe lets goooo!" Winnie said in her posh accent.

"Actually Winnie Alex needs me here Aries has been horse-napped," said Seth.

"Who the lipstick is Aries?" asked Winnie.

"A horse," said Seth.

"Good, help me loosen my high-heels they're killing me," she said and started loosening them til they almost fell off. She sat on a stool which had a bucket of manure near it.

"No its fine, you go, I just need muck out now I'll be going home soon," said Alex.

"I'll help you," said Seth. Alex smiled and he smiled back. When she had done she propped up the pitch fork onto a bucket. This bucket happened too be the one Winnie was sitting under it fell onto the other side and covered Winnie with poo!

Winnie didn't realize that it was poo. "What is this a spa rub?" She asked flicking a clump off her shoulder. Seth and Alex couldn't help but snicker covering their mouths with there hands.

"What?" Asked Winnie. "And what's that smell? Its getting stronger!"

"You hate horses..." Alex started off but she interrupted herself by laughing, "and now, you're covered in their poo!"

"WHAT?!?!?!" She asked angrily and ran to her comical pink car and drove off.

"Want a lift home? It's getting dark," asked Seth.

"Thanks," said Alex and they walked to the car together, hand in hand.

Aries! The adventurer (the dream pony 2) - Part 3

When Alex got home she waved goodbye to Seth and walked inside. She laid down on the couch and shut her eyes listening to the hum of noise coming from the quiet TV.

"I hope you're still going to go and feed Bella," said her mother walking in. Alex groaned.

"I guess I will be the one feeding her tonight then," she muttered.

"No its fine I...I want to see her." Alex got up and walked outside again a tear rolled down her cheek thinking of Aries. She began to run to Bella's stable and when she got there she wrapped her arms around soft fuzzy Bella's neck.

"I bet you wish your baby was here too, not a baby any more... a mare! I mean its silly to be crying, I'm sixteen! And she's only been gone a week." Alex kept sobbing Bella laid down and began to sleep now Alex was laughing.

"You're so lazy Bella! Horses usually stand up to sleep," Bella opened one eye and nudged Alex away. "Okay, then I'll get you hay and go." Alex got her hay. "Goodnight," she called and walked away smiling a tear still rolled down her cheek though she wiped it away with her sleeve.

She walked into the house and saw her mother talking on the phone. She decided to watch TV for a while. Unfortunately there wasn't much on so she watched strictly come dancing for a while 'til her mother burst in.

"They have arrested the man who stole Aries!" She exclaimed. "That's brilliant mum!" Alex shouted and she danced around like a loon shouting and skipping.

"KEEP IT DOWN UNDER THERE!" Her father's voice shouted banging on the floor trying to get them to be quiet, which caused Alex to fall over in shock.

"So when can we get her back?"

"Oh," her mother went quiet. "Well she kind of escaped before they arrested him. They say she's wild now, a stallion stole her from him." She said and Alex fainted.
