Deer

Deer: many horses spook at them, but sometimes, you can have magical experiences with deer on horseback..
one day me and my horse buddy were riding on a new trail, we were going along a turn, and right there, about 10 feet away from us, was a doe. buddy walked right up to it, so close i could have reached out and touched it, but i didn't. buddy and the deer touched noses for a second, then the deer sprang away fast as it had come. buddy turned and kept ambling along the trail. i couldn't believe what i just saw. and i will never know, to this day, what gave buddy and the deer the courage to say hello.
