My riding instructor has taught me Western very well. I was allowed to trot on my first lesson and though I barely rode more than 4 times my first year I loped in my second year. My riding instructor taught me balance as well as control. My first time falling off was when I was loping and the horse I was riding wasn't the best at gaming so she slipped and went to her knees. I flew off the side and that was the only time I fell off there. She has four horses.
Buddy:
First horse you learn to ride. Buckskin. Amazing horse.
Everyone who rides Buddy as an experienced rider loves him. When you begin to ride him he's as stubborn as a mule. Then comes the day when you are an experienced rider. He'll listen to the slightest touch of the heels and will even neck rein for you. 20 years old.
Patches:
The second horse you ride. Loves treats. Not good at gaming but very responsive. 30 years old.
Chance:
The third horse you ride. Amazing movements. So smooth people who ride her never want to ride another rough horse again! A dream to groom and tack up but not bridle. She is a bit head shy so she needs people to be careful when they go near her ears. 20 years old.
Jessie:
Sweet old pony but very moody. When it comes to the bridle she will open her mouth wide for the bit. A jill of all trades sadly because of age and arthritis she has started to stumble at the trot but don't under estimate her because of this, she still provides everyone with a challenge! 30 years old.
Though all of these horses are old You'd be surprised by how young they act. Before I was told their age I guessed that Buddy was 15, Patches 14, Chance 10, and Jessie 8.
