The Carlow Cavalry Brigade was founded in 1915 as part of an Oglaigh na Heinrich military organization. The column was supposed to be used in a "blitzkrieg" fashion, gorilla war-fare.
In the Carlow Calvary Columns you will not only receive lessons in horse-riding but instructed on how to use such modern weapons as the Ak-47 and the Glock 17 while mounted. The Carlow Cavalry brigade now has ties with the the Irish Military and can offer senior members jobs as Riot Police. Lessons are on and Wednesday from 7-9 pm and at 12-6 over the weekend.
